MENTAL HEALTH
Mental Health Mentorship Program
Our Mental Health and Wellness Mentorship program is an initiative to support youth of African descent aged 15-30 throughout Alberta and in Regina with their Mental and Emotional health. Over the course of six months, mentees are paired with a mentor who will offer tips and resources to help them tackle the various stresses in life. The next round of mentorship pairings is to begin in September 2025.
The program will:
-
Provide youth with tools to help them with their emotional and mental well being
-
Pair youth with a mentor based on their specific needs
-
Create a safe space for youth to ask questions and gain support
