Carrying It All: Black Men, Mental Health & Internal Leadership

๐Ÿ“… February 15, 2026
๐Ÿ•’ 3:00 PM
๐Ÿ“ Home2 Suites by Hilton Edmonton South
1140 103A St SW, Edmonton, AB T6W 2P6

๐Ÿ‘ฅ Limited to 40 men only

This Black History Month, the TRIF Park and Walk Program invites 40 men into a powerful, intentional space to explore what it really means to carry responsibility, expectation, pressureโ€”and still lead from within.

Carrying It All is a conversation about mental health, emotional resilience, identity, and internal leadershipโ€”rooted in Black history, lived experience, and the realities of men today.

This is not therapy.
This is not a lecture.
Itโ€™s honest dialogue, practical tools, and brotherhood.

What to Expect

๐Ÿ—ฃ๏ธ Panel Discussions โ€“ real conversations on mental health, strength, and leadership
๐Ÿ› ๏ธ Interactive Workshops โ€“ practical strategies for emotional regulation, clarity, and growth
๐ŸŽถ Music & Culture โ€“ grounding the experience in Black heritage
๐Ÿฝ๏ธ Food & Refreshments โ€“ community built around the table
๐Ÿค Connection โ€“ a room where men donโ€™t have to perform, just show up

Who Should Attend

Black men and immigrant men navigating pressure, purpose, and responsibility

Fathers, professionals, leaders, and men in transition

Men who are โ€œstrong for everyone elseโ€ and need space to reflect and recharge

Men ready to lead themselves better, not just others

This gathering honours Black history by addressing a present-day truth:
strong men still need space to be human.
